Our Commitment to Improvement: Fixing Drugbook and Inventory Issues

Since launching the Digital Drugbook in early 2023, we’ve hit a major milestone with over one million records created. However, we know we’ve also faced some challenges along the way that have affected your experience. We're dedicated to fixing these issues and continuously improving the platform. Here are the key areas we're focusing on:

Removing Duplicate Records 

We noticed that duplicate records in the Drugbook were causing confusion for many clinics. These duplicates came from an error in our record creation process. We've cleaned up these duplicates to make sure each record accurately reflects stock movements. Plus, we've updated our system to prevent any future duplicate records, keeping your data clean and reliable.



Correcting Product Balances

We found that product balances shown across different sections - like the last records balance, the balance summary cards on the web Drugbook, and the balances page of Inventory - were inconsistent. This happened because the Total Current Balance didn't account for adjustment entries from stocktakes.


We’ve fixed this by revising the calculation method to include all adjustment entries. Now, product balances will be consistent and accurate across all parts of the system. 


Reliable Stocktakes

If you notice that your product balances are incorrect after we removed the duplicate records, or if you’ve been unsure about completing a stocktake, we want to reassure you that the stocktake feature is reliable. You can confidently use the stocktake functionality to correct your balances for each product, ensuring accurately displayed balances.


We’ve Made Other Quality-Of-Life Improvements to Drugbook & Inventory

Immediate Order Display:

Your orders from the Fresh Store will now appear on the Orders tab immediately after checkout, regardless of invoice status. This change eliminates delays and removes the need to manually add stock to your Drugbook.


Revised 'Order Again' Functionality:

The ‘Order Again’ feature has been improved to ensure items are added to the cart effectively.


Full Stock Transfers:

You can now transfer 100% of a product’s balance between your clinics. Previously, the system required the transfer amount to be less than the current balance.
